Class of 2024-2025 Reedy Athletic Scholarships

*REMINDER* In order to be eligible for Reedy Booster Club scholarships, all families have to have been a RBC member each year their student participated in a RHS sport.

Student-athlete General Qualifications:
1. The Student-athlete has submitted a complete application to Frisco Education Foundation (FEF). Applications will open on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 10 a.m. and will close on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. ( NO EXCEPTIONS) for the Graduating Class of 2025. (website: www.friscoisd.org/departments/Frisco-education-foundation/home).
2. The Student-athlete has received an FEF confirmation of completed application and approval.
3. Student-athlete has a cumulative 3.0 GPA at time of scholarship selection and is in good standing.
4. Student-athlete will have completed at least fifty (50) hours of community service (any type of service hours are accepted and should be described by the student in their application). Any falsified information will disqualify the student from consideration.
5. Parents/family of the Student-athlete have been Reedy Booster Club members for each of the years their student participated a RHS sport. Reedy Booster Club will accept any retroactive memberships for prior years to ensure qualification.

6. All team fees for which a Student-athlete participated must be fully funded/completed for all sports participated during high school unless impacted by a hardship situation or unless the season is impacted by Covid and team fees are not collected.

- No Guarantees- Membership alone does not guarantee student-athletes an RBC scholarship
- One, but not both: It is possible for a Student-athlete to be eligible for both the standard level scholarship and the distinguished level scholarship but is only eligible to receive one or the other
- Representation: Criteria and eligibility will be checked and verified for accuracy with RHS Coaches. If information presented is inaccurate, applicant will be disqualified.
- All Sports: RBC desires these scholarships to be available for a male and female student athlete from each sport pending qualification/eligibility.
- Student Managers and Student Trainers: Are eligible to be for a scholarship if they meet all other criteria.
- Roll Over: It is possible for scholarship money to not be utilized due to non-qualification and or eligibility. In these cases, scholarship funds will roll to next calendar year for utilization
- Frisco Education Foundation reviews every application for scholarships and awards scholarships based on above criteria. All scholarship recipients are selected by FEF
- Presentation: NO SCHOLARSHIPS ARE PRESENTED at the Frisco Education Foundation Scholarship Night. RBC Scholarships are presented at the RBC Scholarship Night, tentatively scheduled for May 5, 2025 @ 6:30 pm
