 Coach Rudd - Varsity Volleyball Coach

Katie Schnitzius Rudd was born and raised in Lewisville, Texas. She graduated from Lewisville High School where she was a multi-sport athlete who played volleyball and soccer. Katie then pursed college volleyball, first at North Central Texas College, and then Southeastern Oklahoma State University as a setter and defensive specialist (this was before the libero was added to the game). 2016 - 2017 was Katie’s 10th year in Frisco ISD, with 8 of those years being spent at Liberty High School where she helped to develop the program at all levels. Before Frisco ISD, Katie worked with Lewisville ISD, where she was the assistant to a State Champion soccer team at The Colony in 2007. She has enjoyed coaching club at TAV and Victory for 15's, 16's and 17's. At Reedy, Katie teaches Teen Leadership and Health. She enjoys taking her Teen Leadership classes out into the community and volunteering. Katie has two amazing child who keep her busy and loving life. Her daughter is 6 and son is 3.  To describe Katie in a few words they would be passionate, loud, and outgoing. 

This first year opening up Reedy was a challenging yet amazing year.  The program competed well and all are looking forward to our 9-5A highly competitive district. – Coach Rackley


  Coach Winchell
 Assistant Volleyball Coach


Toree Winchell was born and raised in Dalhart, Texas. Toree graduated from Dalhart High School, where she played volleyball, basketball, track, and was a part of the rodeo team. She then attended West Texas A&M University and received a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Agriculture. She changed career paths to become a teacher and a coach. Toree came to Reedy from Dalhart High School where she was an assistant coach in volleyball and track.  She has coached club at several different levels, and was also a certified volleyball referee in college. Her free time is spent with her friends and family, riding horses, team roping, and jogging.  At Reedy, Toree teaches English III and also coaches track.

Attitude lies somewhere between emotion and logic. It's that curious mix of optimism and determination that enables you to maintain a positive outlook and to continue plodding in the face of the most adverse circumstances.   -Pat Summitt


Coach Miller
Assistant Volleyball Coach

 

Amanda Miller graduated from Arlington High School and competed in the state volleyball tournament in 1998.  After high school, she played collegiate volleyball at Texas A&M Kingsville and North Central Texas College.  Amanda was an assistant coach at the collegiate level at Texas Wesleyan from 2007-2009.  She coached club volleyball for Texas Advantage Volleyball Club, and was recently the varsity assistant coach for Lamar High School (Arlington, TX) who reached the "Sweet 16" in 2015. This is Amanda's second year at Reedy High School, and she will also be coaching softball. Her hobbies include being outside, and spending time with her family.  Coach Miller has been married for two years to her husband, John.
